Today I installed nextcloud through docker I’m using the linuxserver image and the install was very smooth however when I got to the web UI it was slow and I mean anywhere from 5 seconds to 60 per click! But I continued thinking it was just running a background install and would soon speed up.
I added my NAS as external storage which worked fine and then setup the recognize app which is basically facial regognision like your phone does where it groups the same people and lets you name them.
At this point I was happy however it was still slow so I did a bit off research I changed some php configs but that didn’t help and I gave up when I saw people mentioning CPU options as Nextcloud is not worth a new server.
