Ever since I lost access to my public ip by moving behind starlink I had been looking for a good way to proxy all my services. In my hunt i came across Oracles generous free tier. They offer an arm machine with up to 4 cores and 24GB of RAM. As well as 2 vms with 1 x86 core and 1 GB of RAM. My initial intention was to run docker on the arm vm and have a tunnel run on that. However these arm vm have very desirable and hard to get as they are limited for free tier customers. I have been trying for almost 3 weeks now using a terraform script to provision this vm. However I have so far been unsuccessful leaving me with just the x86 vms which i have been unable to run dnf installs on due to the RAM even after trying to add a swap file. So overall I have been unsuccessful trying to use oracle free tier.
